What Time Is It?

Richard Warren

11/2/18

Description:Reading: Numbers 9: 15-23We live in days of great opportunity and in world that is experiencing rapid change. The local church has to face the challenge of change; changing times require a changed mind set and a willingness to embark on the journey of change with God who is faithful. Changing times require us to discern and understand the times in God’s economy (Esther 4:14 and 1 Chronicles 12:32) and to choose whether we are going to trust God. The experience of God’s people in the desert who followed the cloud above the tabernacle on their way to the Promised Land shows us that God’s presence is necessary to enable us to cope with change.

It means 'one belonging to Jesus', or 'one who follows Jesus'.As for Baptism, it means clothing oneself in Jesus, and it's a declaration that we belong to Jesus.Jesus Himself was baptised, and He commends it, Peter also commends it. Press On!

Richard Warren

24/9/17

Jesus Christ is completely supreme, so Christians should stick with him alone, the true lover of our soul, whatever happens. He draws lessons from the failure of the Exodus generation. (1) Because of who Jesus is (our apostle, high priest and faithful Son over God’s house), we should hear his voice and believe (Heb. 3: 1-19, and,(2) Disobedience and distrust of the promises of God will prevent us from enjoying the blessings of God that we might have enjoyed (Heb. 3: 12-19; 4: 6-11).
